The music workshop began with a round of introductions in which we formulated and collected our
musical interests, any previous knowledge of instruments and individual wishes and expectations
for the workshop. In the days that followed, we tested different instrumentations and forms of
music-making and sound production. We used the instruments we had brought with us for classical
band contexts as well as recording devices to sample sounds in the environment and to
alienate/process them on the computer. This resulted in several projects that we pursued over the
course of the workshop and which we tried to show in the final presentation in collaboration with
the other workshop leaders.
